Due to the high level of suicide in today’s demanding world, Sonja Smith has started with a Suicide Support Group on 1 May 2010.
Family and friends of suicide victims gather together on a monthly basis to support each other. Guest speakers also address the group from time to time.
Sonja Smith is the co-founder of Cancer Direct, offering a support system for cancer patients, focusing on providing information and aftercare. The physical, emotional and pastoral needs of patients and their families are taken care of.
A multi-professional team consisting of medical doctors, nursing professionals, dieticians, social workers and counsellors are part of the Cancer Direct team, ensuring that the patients receive optimal and clinically correct guidance and information.

The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a non-denominational self-help support organization offering friendship, comfort and understanding to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings.
